My comfort queen room with a couch, 2 double beds, as example was compact. The location was magnificent and good, not very far from a medieval bell tower. Cafes and bars were located minute walk from the hotel.

Perfect location just steps from the town square! The breakfast selection was good, with fresh pastries and DIY waffles, made mornings extra fun!

Limited bathroom privacy might be awkward for some guests. The shower is sectioned off, which could detract from the overall experience.

The location was perfect. Just around the corner from the main square but quiet. Our suite was clean and thoughtfully designed, and having a launderette next door was a great bonus. Breakfast had DIY waffles, super fun 😊

Loved the cozy and modern vibe of Hotel Marcel. The room was clean with fresh pastries at breakfast each morning, made waking up a pleasure. Staff provided a kettle quickly for late-night tea, a nice touch! The location couldn't be better for exploring Bruges, right in the heart of everything. The bathroom had limited privacy, which might be awkward for some. Plus, I encountered the common issue of two twin beds pushed together with an uncomfortable gap.

The hotel was like a sardine can. Small double room? More like tiny. And 24 euros for parking? What a rip off. I was hoping for a complimentary breakfast upgrade or at least a warm welcome! Instead, got a cold reception and noisy nights. Just couldn't give a good review, i guess.

Loved winding down in the peaceful lounge area and enjoying a cup of tea from the kettle provided right in our room. The only bummer was that it got a little too chilly for our taste, but it didn't ruin the fun at all 😊 Be sure to try the homemade jams at breakfast!

Marcel had a great location, just a short walk to the main square, but away from the touristy hustle. The continental breakfast was a real treat with fresh baked goods and generous offerings. It was nice to have shops and a laundrette nearby too.

The hotel had a prime location, perfect for exploring Bruges with my three young kids. The staff was accommodating, even providing us with a kettle for late-night snacks. Breakfast was a hit, with plenty of options the kids loved!

In my wife's opinion, the limited bathroom privacy was an issue.

The staff provided excellent communication about the free shuttle service from the train station. The room, while no frills, was tidy and offered comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. The updated bathroom featured a fantastic shower that added to our comfort. I also appreciated being close to local shops and a laundrette, which enhanced our stay.

The amenities felt quite basic compared to what I expected for the price.
